I do like the baja — it's my one bug exception.

I love how the Porsche owner says, right at the beginning, "It's a car, people drove these cars in the city all the time when they were new, so you can drive your car in the city now." because it's so true.

Sure, there are a few risks of damaging the car, but these aren't any greater than they are to any other car of any other age driving in the same place. Also, New York actually looks like a pretty interesting place to drive. Compared to where I live, streets are wider, the asphalt is smoother and traffic seemed to be far more organized than the "competition driving" we have here, where you either swerve and shift between lanes or get rear ended.

Where in the hell is it that you keep your car? Is that like a roof/parking lot of said supermarket?

Also, your dune bug fits in as well in the city as anyone driving a ford raptor in the city, or around any town, so I wouldn't worry about the lack of sand....

yeah, the parking lot on the roof of the supermarket is run by another company, so you can keep your car there on monthly rates. one of the cheaper deals in the city

thats pretty cool actually, I didn't know such a place existed

Any time I'm ever in the city from NJ I leave my car at a friends shop in Astoria and let him drive me around, just easier that way.
